Life I never knew what it meant to be caught up. Over the course of these past couple weeks, I feel like I've learned the true meaning in my perspective. I find myself caught in a web with many things that hold no meaning to my life and I'm constantly on the go. To solve this, I've realized breaks are necessary as well as including healthy habits such as drinking more water, reading and doing yoga. Old habits die hard and I think this will take some time to adapting but I can do it.

A Day At The Theme Park - W. Bruce Cameron

W. Bruce Cameron speaks from a perspective as a father with three children. The day is planned out to go to an amusement park with fun rides but this soon turns into the father getting more scared to go onto the rides while his kids are excited. He describes feeling nauseous and couldn't wait to get off the rides. I think this story is funny and for entertaining purposes, I truly enjoyed it and I think the writer used good vocabulary.

Why Marriages Fail - Anne Roiphe

Anne Roiphe speaks about why do marriages fail. She stated that most marriages end in divorce because people think that perfect partners exist when in reality, everyone is flawed. Pride is also a big factor. From this story, I think that when an individual decides to marry someone they need to know that it wont be easy and you cant just give up. It is a commitment to your partner to love them everyday with time and effort.

Neat People vs Sloppy People - Suzanne Britt

There are two types of people in this world. Suzanne Britt , who is a famous author, has come to this conclusion that there are people who are "sloppy" and who are "neat". She talks about how neat people are lazier, cocky and meaner than the opposing side which are sloppy people. It is quoted in her published article that these people are bums and clods at heart, wasteful and that they have cavalier attitudes toward possessions, including family heirlooms. On the other hand, sloppy people are more warm hearted individuals who care about family and will get up on their feet and become active. Someday they are planning to alphabetize all their books and set up home catalogues or maybe they will go through their wardrobes and mark certain items for tentative mending. Sloppy people will make family scrapbooks into which they will put newspaper clippings, postcards, locks of hair, and the dried corsage from their senior prom. In this article, I agree with several t...

A Poem that I like You are not small.  You are not unworthy.  You are not insignificant.    The universe wove you from a constellation,  just so atom, every fibre in you comes from a different star.    Together, you are bound by stardust , altogether spectacularly created by the energy of the universe itself.    And that, my darling,  is the poetry of physics,  the poetry of  you .    — Nikita Gill

All around the world , coronavirus has taken a toll on everyone of all ages. This has caused millions of death worldwide. During this pandemic, different doctors and scientist came together to create vaccines to help beat the virus. This has become very controversial to the population, especially here in Antigua and Barbuda. This is because the Government think vaccines should be mandatory and are insisting the nation to take it. Residents of the country are standing up for their rights because they are being stripped from us. I personally think vaccines should not be mandatory because we have a right to chose what we want to put into our bodies. I also think people who suffer from underlying conditions should not be pressured or forced. The vaccine could contain harsh ingredients that could potentially have some sort of damaging effect on the body's system. Although the Government of Antigua and Barbuda are trying their best to protect and help our country, I think our people sh...
